Our first Composer-in-Residence, Dr. Joe Dunn, is a veteran modern jazz composer and arranger. He's been writing new, original music for Louisville Jazz Initiative performances throughout 2021. If you haven't gotten a chance to hear his music yet, be sure to check out the recording of our performance at the 2021 Festival of Faiths, linked below.

What an honor and privilege to perform as part of the 2021 Festival of Faiths. Helping establish the mood for this discussion are Dave Clark and Jailynn Noel, playing Work Song by Nat Adderly and Oscar Brown Jr. Later that night, we premiered a new work at the Fesitval of Faiths After Hours concert - Parable of Three Faiths by Composer in Residence, Dr. Joe Dunn.
